6th Class Activities
Recent Science Lessons
Here are some photos of our recent Science lessons: racing magnetic cars; constructing an electrical circuit (with the help of Mr Gibbons!); and working in groups to design and make a lever or pulley!
What better way to celebrate the end of a school term than by showing off your creative side! 6th Class made some snowflakes which took a lot of work and persistence!
Lots has been happening in Science this week in 6th Class! We are learning all about magnetism: magnetic fields, attracting and repelling, north and south poles etc. We designed our own magnetic cars and started construction of them today. Getting the wheels to rotate has been difficult but hopefully we will get there in the end! All we need to do now is see if they work as magnetic cars and maybe have a class race!
Well done to all the students who put themselves forward for the Student Council Election. Their campaigns were well run and they impressed their peers with well-written speeches. It’s great to see so many students willing to represent their class on the Student Council.
