Sciath na Scol Champions 2016!

Well done to the boys from Scoil Bhríde who won the Sciath na Scol DH3 hurling title on Tuesday 31st May. The team were captained by Edmond Cashman (Rang 6) and overcame Scartleigh NS in a very closely fought final on a scoreline of 2-8 to 1-7. More to follow...

Sciath na Scol Update October 2015
Congratulations and well done to our boys' and girls' football teams and their coaches on their involvement in the Sciath na Scol competition during September and October. The girls qualified for the semi-final against Glounthaune N.S. It was played in Caherlag pitch on Monday 19th October. Unfortunately the girls were beaten on the day by a stronger Glounthaune team but they all played so well on the day and tried their very best all through the game. We are very proud of them and well done on reaching the semi-final!

Sciath na Scol 2015
September / October

The boys and girls will be starting their football competitions soon this September, with games against Youghal, Midleton, Scoil na Nóg and Belgooly.

Dear Parents,

We are well underway in a new Sciath na Scol football season and the boys and girls have three games remaining – v Midleton (away), v Belgooly (away) and v Glanmire (home). We were very unlucky to have lost our first match away to Youghal last Friday.

The total cost for the three buses to the away matches is €10. This can be paid over the next couple of weeks. Please note this is the total amount for the three buses. Keep an eye on the website (www.sbrathcormac.ie) for updates from the matches over the next few weeks.

Many thanks,

Mr Gibbons, Miss McGrath, Miss Bermingham and Mr O’ Sullivan

Sciath na Scol Success!!!!!!!
Scoil Bhride have been very successful in both boys and girls competitions over the last few years in football, hurling and camogie. The girls football teams had great victories and one of the greatest highlights for the school was winning the double in 2012 in both hurling and camogie!
