Newton's Disc and the Spectrum of Light
This term we learned about light energy. We studied the work of Sir Isaac Newton and how he discovered that light is made up of seven colours. We made Newton's Discs which proves that the seven colours of the rainbow blend together to make white light. A rainbow works in the opposite way- droplets of water act as prisms and split the white light into the seven colours.

Sixth Class Hoodies!
Our hoodies have arrived! How wonderful do we look- we really feel like sixth class now! Big thanks so Mr O Sullivan and the Hoodie Committee who made this happen so efficiently.

Growth Mindset
This year in Rang a Sé we are always learning with a Growth Mindset. This way of thinking focusses on the magic word 'YET'. For example, instead of saying 'I'm not good at Maths', we try to switch our mindset and say 'I'm not good at Maths... YET'. Here is some of the artwork we did to build our confidence and develop our growth mindset.
