To celebrate Engineers Week, each child was given the task to create their own STEM project at home. Look at all the amazing ideas the children came up with. There was a lot of work and creativity involved in each individual project.The children were very excited to show off their wonderful designs in class and to the rest of the school.
STEM IN FIRST CLASS
We learned all about coding using the Bee bots. Gary Clerkin a parent in the school kindly showed us how to use the bee bots and the different ways they can be used. We had so much fun using these bee bots!
In first class we were learning all about Australia We made these wonderful projects at home.

We read the book ''The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark'' in class and we drew our own Owls using chalk pastels.

In class, we are learning about everyone being unique and that we are all different.These are our Self-Portraits. We used a pencil to draw the outline and oil pastels to add colour.
